This is a fun one! Give them a menu in Chinese. They are allowed to pick 5 out of 8 items. Even utensils are part of the menu, so if they did not pick utensils, they have to eat with their hands!

1. Assign people to bring the following items (ready to serve):

2. Set up tables with just a plate, a pencil, water (or a drink)-- no utensils-- and this menu: Chinese menu (one menu per person)

3. Have the people fill out the menu.

4. Collect the menus and have someone prepare their orders in another room while you have your Thanksgiving program (skits, songs, etc.)

5. Have them serve the orders as they get them ready.

6. When everyone has their meal, see if they can guess what each item in Chinese meant. Click here for the traslation of the menu.
